This picture relates to the story because the manager thought that the way the girls were dressed was inappropriate with their bathing suits on. So  this picture is saying that there are not bathing suits allowed.

How are people transformed through their relationships with others?
I think that Greg was doing what he wanted to do with his life because those were the type of people he was hanging out with at school. The people he hung out with made Greg skip his finals and drop out of school.  In this way Greg's friends transformed Greg's identity. All of Greg's early life his dad tried to make Greg take classes he didn't want to take so Greg would be just like him.  When Greg was young Greg would let his dad tell him what to do which would shape his identity. He was doing this to make his dad happy, but when Greg finally decided to make his own decisions about his life and identity his dad got angry and they got in an argument.  The dad needed to make his kids go to school and be successful to feel good about himself. If his children didn't go to school and get a good job he would feel worthless because thats the way he was raised and thats the way he thinks his children should be raised. So when Greg changed his dads identity felt threatened and they fought. Sharlene identity is transformed by both her brothers and fathers identity. While her dad is trying to get her to go to school and get a good career she wants to be like her brother and follow her own dreams and go to Europe. This is making Sharlene feel confused about her identity because she wants to make her dad happy by doing what he wants her to do, but at the same time she wants to do what she has always wanted to do with her life.  She ends up confused about her identity and unhappy.  This story "Brother dear" is a great example of how people and their identities are transformed through their relationships with others.
